68 High Street is in the heart of Ingatestone village and has been home to a bakery for more than seventy years; however the building had remained empty and dormant for almost six months before Giselle bought it in 1990. Giselle’s art is specialist cake decorating and the shop has become famous for creating cakes beyond imagination. Ravens of Ingatestone produce fresh bread and confectionary every day; all baked on the premises. We will make every effort to use the best ingredients from local suppliers and are proud of the excellent quality you can expect in our produce.We were proud to recieve the Essex Baker of the Year award in 2008. Giselle was presented with the award at the Essex food and drink awards in September.But don’t just take our word for it! Come and join us in one of our cosy coffee shops where you can chose from a full breakfast and lunch menu or simply enjoy a coffee and a cake .
