This is one of the most controversial wedding cakes I’ve made, with some people thinking it’s too ‘plain’ and not themed enough, and others LOVING the subtle nod to the iconic Jurassic Park movies.

Personally this will always be one of my favourite wedding cakes I have made.

🎂✨ Fancy spending a few hours making something ridiculously cute?

I’m opening up two special cake decorating workshops this October, right here in Billericay, Essex — and I’m pretty excited about these ones! 👀

These are small, relaxed, hands-on workshops for hobby bakers who want to learn new decorating skills, get creative and actually have plenty of time with me rather than being lost in a big class.

📅 Tuesday 27th October

Learn how to create your very own adorable Jellycat-inspired birthday cake, with me guiding you through the process step-by-step.

👻 HALLOWEEN GHOST CAKE WORKSHOP
📅 Thursday 29th October

Come and create a cute (and slightly silly 👀) Halloween ghost cake — because apparently Halloween cakes don’t have to be scary!

Both workshops are limited to just 3 people per class, so you’ll get lots of individual help and guidance throughout - these classes are not suitable for young children.

A wedding cake doesn’t have to look like a traditional wedding cake.

This one was created for a couple who wanted to bring a little piece of their story to the centre of their wedding day — and what better way to do that than in cake?

From their new home together - Stockwell House, and the iconic London bus to the little details around the base, every element was designed to make this cake personal to them.

And that’s what I love about cake design.

It can be elegant.
It can be romantic.
It can be completely unexpected.

This is a 6inch cake with 4 layers of sponge filled with buttercream inbetween each layer and one of the most popular cake sizes requested.

My favourite cakes to create are the ones that are packed with personality and tell a story about the person they’re made for. The more unique, the better!

Because let’s face it… life’s too short for a boring round cake with a few sprinkles chucked on top. 😉 Give me the cake that has everyone pointing and laughing because it’s so accurate!

I absolutely loved creating this cake, the replica of their digger took 6 hours to make alone ~ all using THE SUGAR PASTE™ modeling paste, so can be kept as a keepsake.
