My name is Emmy and I am a self-taught baker from Bicester. I currently do not offer cakes and bakes to order.

I opened my little bakery just over two years ago and I serve the wonderful people of Bicester my bakes every Friday at the market.

Hello! I am back from a wonderful week in Barcelona 🇪🇸, celebrating West’s birthday. Here are some pictures from my holiday filled with cocktails, sightseeing and flamenco dancing 💃! I am at BICESTER MARKET this FRIDAY 5th August from 9am until sell out. I’ll be posting up the menu on Thursday. I’ve not quite decided what I’d like to bake this week. Thank you sooo much to everybody who came to the market on Friday. It was so great to see you all, and the weather wasn’t too bad which meant no cake disasters - hurrah!

I have some news which is a little bittersweet. At the end of August, Cake Belly is relocating 160 miles up north to Chester. My partner has been offered a job and I have been granted a place at Liverpool University to study MSc Business Psychology. Although I’m extremely excited to begin my next chapter, I am also leaving behind family, friends and my wonderful business.

I have two more markets before I relocate: 5th and 19th August. These are going to be absolutely epic markets with absolutely loads of different bakes, competitions and freebies to celebrate my customers. I truly would not have been able to do what I love for the last 2 and a half years without the support from the people of Bicester.

Cake Belly Nan and I are really looking forward to the next one and fingers crossed for no more heatwaves 🤞🏻. Stay safe and cool, Emmy x

Bicester Friday Market is tomorrow!!! Despite the weather (please pray for no warmer than it says it is 🤞🏻), we are ON and I will be at the market from 9am until sell out. I would recommend coming down early-ish as if it does get too warm, I’m going to have to make a super quick exit. I may be moving stall locations into a shadier position but I will keep you all updated. Menu below and I will see you tomorrow!! 🧁 ⛺️

THIS WEEK’S MARKET STALL UPDATE: Hello everyone! Due to the absolute scorcher ☀️ which is in for us this Friday, I have had to make the difficult decision to cancel my stall at this weeks Friday Market in Sheep Street. Temperatures are due to reach over 30oC, which is great for me (I love the heat) but absolutely terrible for my cakes. I will be baking some treats at home for Friday, so I will put up some sort of menu / list of boxes available in a couple of days. Sorry to disappoint you all, but myself and Cake Belly Nan will be back at Bicester Market on Friday 15th July ⛺️🧁. Stay cool everybody!! 🫣😖
