I understand now why people find decorating cakes so therapeutic there’s something so relaxing about piping buttercream onto Lambeth style cakes

The more cakes I decorate the more I understand that it’s all about trusting the process from stacking, to applying crumb coats and smoothing buttercream, to piping decorations, to adding the final touches

You’ve got to trust the process and believe in yourself this is coming from someone who couldn’t make big cakes and found it very stressful. I kept practicing and slowly I started to see progress and now I’m making cakes like this and I enjoy making them 🥰

Cupcakes by Chloe turns 3 today!

Wow I can’t believe it’s been 3 whole years 🥹

I started this business with a passion for baking, specifically cupcakes. I would always be baking cupcakes for family and friends, any opportunity I’d be there with a box of cupcakes in hand. I’d always had a dream to own my own cake business, with cupcakes at the heart of it.

It was always something I’d think about, after graduating uni I knew there was only one thing I really wanted to do, what I was most passionate about. The thought of starting a business with no knowledge about the business side of things,and not knowing if people would want cupcakes was scary. But I just knew I had to try & with the support of family and friends (who were very happy to be cake testers 😅) I turned my dream into a reality and it really has been the best decision I’ve made!

3 years later I couldn’t be more grateful that I followed my dream. I’ve met so many incredible and talented business owners, I’m part of such a wholesome and supportive community, I’ve been a part of your celebrations and there is nothing more special than that.

If you’ve been here from the very beginning or have joined this journey later on, THANK YOU! Thank you for supporting my business, I wouldn’t be where I am without your support it means the world 🫶

I have always wanted to make Mamma Mia inspired cupcakes and these are definitely a favourite! 💙

I had so much fun decorating these Victoria sponge cupcakes from creating the colour palette, to personalising the toppers, to adding silver sprinkles to look like mini disco balls and adding a dusting of silver shimmer dust for the finishing touches

Our boxes of 12 are the perfect choice to celebrate and share with family and friends
