It is with a heavy heart that I’ve decided to hang up my apron for a little while.

In September I am starting a new teaching role, which is full time, and I would like to spend my spare time focussing on my family for a while.

I wanted to thank all of you for your support, custom, likes, shares and comments over the years. When I first started, I never imagined I would be making 4 tier wedding cakes and being featured in cake magazines! It’s been a pleasure making cakes for you all and this is TTFN (ta ta for now!) and watch this space in the future.

A beautiful pressed flower cake I made a few weeks ago when it was crazy hot - which made transportation and set up slightly interesting. But all went well and the happy couple enjoyed their anniversary party.

Three tiers - lemon sponge with lemon buttercream and lemon curd, chocolate sponge with chocolate buttercream and vanilla sponge with vanilla buttercream and strawberry jam. All coated in white chocolate ganache.

My daughter decided on a Harry Potter theme for her birthday party this year (last week) and her birthday cake had to match!

Triple chocolate brownies and vanilla cupcakes were what she asked for and yummy they were too!

Happy birthday beautiful boy! My lovely son turned 8 yesterday and celebrated with his current favourite thing - formula 1!

Vanilla sponge with vanilla buttercream and strawberry jam (as was his request). Good choice bud!

Thought these were really cool. Gryffindor themed buttercream swirls with Harry Potter cupcake toppers and magical gold glitter!
