16 Breakfast Pies
Bolognese made from scratch & turned into 16 Pies
20 Scones
24 Sausage Rolls
Victoria Sponge
Chocolate Cake
Almond Slice
Flapjack
Base for a Caramel Shorty
Corned Beef Pie Filling
Bacon for today’s Rolls
Plenty of Cheese & Chutney Granary Baguettes
Just the Chocolate & Raspberry Sundae pots to do

Then onto sorting the Newspapers & Bakers delivery! Oh and wash all the dishes 🫧🧽

Don’t forget today’s lunchtime special - Focaccia Pizza Slices so get your orders in as numbers are limited.

So as the kids go back to school today, and the Summer Holidays officially come to an end, I just wanted to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you for all your custom over the summer. It has been absolutely mental 🥵🤪 in lots of ways. And I’m sure that you will all be as happy as I am to welcome Lauren back today!

I can’t say it hasn’t been hard work and honestly think my Body & Brain are broken 🥲 (who knew I’m not actually Wonder Woman! 😂) but just wanted you all to know that the continued support (and pep talks!) are very much appreciated 🫶🏻

Today we have homemade Mince Pie, Corned Beef Pie, Banoffee Pie Pots, Granary Baguettes filled with Salami Smoked Cheddar, Rocket & Chilli Jam and lots more. Pop in and grab a treat!

Can’t believe we have reached the ‘Ber’ months already. Won’t be mentioning the ‘C’ word yet, but better get myself organised for it! 😊

Let’s keep everything crossed that this is the last day of this road closure!

Had people parking up and walking from both ends of the village (inc some deliveries) to get to us and really do appreciate the effort you are all making 🫶🏻 but we are currently sitting at 50% of what we should have taken by this time today 😢 Counter is still full & I hate waste!! It isn’t normally a problem in this place! But the signage certainly hasn’t been the best to help us out 😳

Really looking forward to getting back to some kind of normal in time for the kids going back to school 😕
