We have a lovely selection of vegetables for your allotment today. Pumpkins, runner beans, beetroot, sweet corn, courgettes and tomatoes. Home grown rhubarb & fresh herbs too.
Also, lots of flowers to choose from. A good range of Cosmos varieties, nepeta, erigeron, hostas and sweet peas.
Finally, we have some home baked cakes & savouries too plus a lovely range of jams and marmalades.
We are here all morning until 12:30.

We have an excellent collection of cakes, savouries, flowers, plants, crafts, and home grown rhubarb for you today.
Try some crunchy croutons or almond macaroons. Pop some broad beans or lettuce onto your allotment. Pick up a local grown bunch of daffs or tulips. Grab a jar of home made jam or marmalade or some local honey.

Easter is here!
We hope you are enjoying your Easter break & what better way to spend it than with friends, family and chocolate! And we have lots to tempt you with today. Little crispy cupcakes scattered with mini eggs, bigger chocolate cakes scattered with mini eggs, home made battenburg cakes & lots more tempting treats with an Easter theme. Bunches of locally picked spring flowers to decorate your table, artisan gifts, seasonal produce (it's purple sprouting brocolli & rhubarb this week), savouries & preserves.

With Easter just around the corner we have chocolate cakes decorated with mini eggs, meringues wrapped in pretty bows, shortbread Easter shapes & lovely local spring flowers.

Our first Spring Market!
We have started to pick local flowers and pink rhubarb (variety 'timperley early'). Devine hellebores and scented double flowering daffs. This weeks local plants include hellebores, sweet williams & autumn sown sweet peas for early flowering.
Our artisan woodworker has made these lovely bread boards from a variety of woods & a pretty cake stand. Perfect for afternoon tea in the garden.
And, of course, cake! Cherry & almond, banana bread, victoria sponge, coffee & walnut. Savouries too, sausage rolls, glamorgan rolls (cheese & herb), quiches, pasties.

You'll find us opposite Boots on the High Street until 12:15. See you soon!

Happy Mothers Day!

Pretty little shortbread bunnies make touching gifts from little ones & highly scented locally grown daffodils or hyacinths are perfect for a cheerful spring display.
New season rhubarb and autumn sown sweet peas are available today.
Battenburg wrapped in bows, Victoria sponge or coffee cake. Delicious sausage rolls for lunch & superb meringue nests for pudding.
We have so much to choose from today.

Calling all bakers!
We are looking for new cooks to join our cooperative.
If you are a regular to Berkhamsted market on a Saturday morning, you will be familiar with our stall. We are a group of local people who bake cakes & savouries, grow plants & edibles and sell local craft.
We currently have a shortage of local bakers and are looking for someone to join our team. If you are available to sell from our stall once every few weeks on a rota and can bake weekly for us, then this might be of interest to you.
