A few cakes to bring you over the next couple of days.

Starting off with this 6” Victoria sponge cake. Covered in pink buttercream and decorated with handmade edible rainbows. Non edible balls and butterflies and finished with a personalised acrylic name and age charm.

Yesterdays cake was one of the most prettiest, girliest cakes I think I have ever done.

Gluten and diary free Victoria sponge cake - covered in a rose theme edible icing wrap. Topped with an oversized handmade edible bow and frame with initial inside. Finished with some piping and gold edible pearls.

A small simple wedding cake for the bride to add a few of their themed decorations to.
Accompanied by 84 cupcakes in three flavours and three colours.
Red - raspberry jam filled
Pink - lemon curd filled
White - caramel filled

Another busy weekend with a small wedding cake along with 84 cupcakes collected Friday and then this 6” chocolate capybara cake.
I took two pictures - before and after adding the capybara toys.

8” Victoria sponge football cake.

2 version of this cake have been pictured as I loved the simplicity of the design chosen (replicated in picture 1). But the customers wanted to add a few items they had purchased elsewhere so the second picture was after adding them.

Second order of the weekend was another huge 10” cake - a little nod to Black Forest Gateaux this is my chocolate sponge cake with vanilla buttercream and black cherry compote.

Along side the cake was 48 cupcakes, filled with strawberry jam and lemon curd.

2 orders left the kitchen this weekend.

First was this large 10” bumblebee transformers cake.
Chocolate sponge cake with Oreo buttercream inside. Covered in yellow vanilla buttercream and completed with handmade edible tyres and cogs and finished with a personalised bumblebee topper.
