Worth a read… I got out of bed at 12.30am to put together a birthday cake for my daughter so it was a surprise for her on her birthday that morning.

Sometimes it’s nice just to let the cake do the talking, simple but delicious. I called it a Tiramisu cake but maybe actually it’s a Cappuccino flavour really as no eggs in the creamy filling or frosting. The rich dark cocoa really balances out the indulgent creamy frosting.
If you like cappuccino or latte you’ll love this cake! Serve as a pudding course or celebration cake …works for me!!

My brief was cream, white & gold. I think the fantasy flowers finished the look off perfectly.
