This week’s cupboard bakes:
-Chocolate Torte- a rich chocolate ganache on a digestive biscuit base. Charlotte sized portion so it could be shared! £3.00 each!
I made this for a dessert at the advent lunch last year and 3 people asked me for the recipe!

-Pecan Pie brownie- a rich fudgy chocolate brownie with a caramelised pecan topping- £2.50
I spied this recipe when I was judging a cowboy themed cooking competition for Yorkshire Young Farmers in May and have only just got round to giving it a go now!

On the 14th November Craddock’s Cake Cupboard is going on the road!

We are not going far however… just to Kirklington Village Hall for our first ever stall!

My question…what bakes would you like to see?!

Anyone around tonight?!

Our local pub is holding its annual Harvest Home auction… lots of goodies up for grabs such as home grown fruits and vegetables, handmade items and home made baking!

From 6pm at The Black Horse Inn, Kirklington

I kept two of each cupboard bake back to donate to the auction!

-Mint slice-£2.20 each. Biscuit base, mint layer, topped with Cadburys chocolate!

-Apple and blackberry frangipane- basically an Autumn Bakewell tart! £2.50 each

-Mars Bar Crispie-packed with Mars bars and topped with Cadburys chocolate- £2 each

-Shortbread fingers- no description needed really, buttery shortbread! Pack of 2 for £1.50

There are a few sticky toffee loaf cakes and 3 fudgy chocolate cherry tortes in the cup about today if anyone fancies a sweet treat!

This week’s cupboard bakes…
-Sticky toffee loaf cake ….basically sticky toffee pudding in a cake with a light caramel buttercream! £2.20 a slice.

-Magic Star brownie- how to make a chocolate brownie even better… add ganache and Magic Stars! Death by chocolate! Only 6 of these available! £2.50

-Fudgy chocolate cherry torte- £2.20 each. A different torte to the other week. This one is more brownie like and goey. Made with gluten free flour, it’s lactose free and vegan! (Please note that it was made in a kitchen that processes gluten and lactose but every effort was made to prevent any contamination.)

Only 3 blackberry and white chocolate cakes left in the cupboard today. I’ve put a brown butter chocolate chip cookie with each one as a treat for whoever snaffles a cake today!

The cookies are part of a recipe test so if you manage to get your hands on one let me know what you think!

-Crunchie Rocky road- a mixture of Crunchies, digestives and marshmallows with Cadbury’s milk chocolate- £2.50 each

-Blackberry and white chocolate cake- blackberry sponge with white chocolate buttercream-£2 each
