The lights are on, the ovens are warming, and the first bakes of the day are well underway.

There’s a lot that happens behind the scenes before we open our doors: all fresh, all handmade by us, all so the shelves can be filled with freshly baked bread, buns and cakes ready for you🤎

There's definitely a little autumn in the air… 🍂

Cooler mornings, darker evenings and suddenly a warm cinnamon bun sounds even better than usual.

September is when we start craving all those comforting flavours again: cinnamon, warming spices, freshly baked bread and something sweet alongside a hot drink. ☕🍞

Did you know… our most popular loaf is the River Hundred Sourdough? 🍞

A firm favourite on our shelves, it's named after the river that runs through our village, a little nod to the place we call home.

Baked fresh in-house, it's the loaf our customers come back for again and again. If you're new to Pinetree Bakery, this is a very good place to start.

It all starts with flour 🌾
Flour might be one of the simplest ingredients in a loaf, but where it comes from matters to us.

That's why we're proud to use flour from , a family-run farm in Norfolk that grows and mills its own flour locally.

We take care in sourcing the best local ingredients we can, so being able to work with another independent family business from our part of the world feels like a natural fit.

Grown locally. Milled locally. Baked by us in Beccles. 🍞

One last taste of summer ☀️🧺We're making the most of these last summer weekends, and we think freshly baked treats make everything better.

Heading out for a walk, picnic or day by the river? Pop into the bakery and pick up something freshly baked to take with you.

A loaf for lunch, a coffee for the journey… or a sweet treat that wasn't technically meant to be eaten before you got there. 👀

Ever wondered why we're called Pinetree Bakery? 🌲The answer is very close to home, literally!

Our name comes from the pine tree growing in our garden, where part of our bakery story began.

When creating our logo, we wanted it to represent both sides of Pinetree Bakery. Look closely, and you'll see inspiration from the shape of pine needles and wheat, bringing together our roots and our love of baking. 🌾

From selling bakes at home to opening our shop in Beccles, that little pine tree has been there from the beginning.
