J & A tied the knot at Dalmeny Park House Hotel , with a sophisticated monochrome palette and an elegant old Hollywood feel.

Their cake brought together striking contrast and intricate detailing, featuring stencilled floral texture and subtle piped pearls. Soft blush pink roses and foliage bringing a softness to the monochrome design, complementing the venue decor beautifully.

If you guessed blue, you nailed it! 🩵 I loved reading through all your guesses, you’ve certainly given me plenty of ideas for future designs 💕

This design was inspired by Wedgewood, I’ve fallen head over heels in love with bas relief detailing. I wanted to contrast the formal architectural tier with an abundance of florals, allowing them to spill organically across the cake, giving the feeling of an overgrown country house garden.

K & A’s wedding cake was designed to be as personal and meaningful as their day itself.

From the groom’s family tartan, beautifully woven into the design, to delicate lace details inspired by the bride’s dress, every element was chosen to tell a part of their story. Their wedding florals were recreated entirely in sugar, bringing the whole design together.

A cake filled with personal touches, created for two very special people.

These sugar flowers were challenging as you don’t want to end up with something too bright or too pale but with the help of the amazing Coach House Flowers they ended up so similar to the fresh flowers on the day. And they really just pop against the black backdrop of the cake. So happy the bride & groom and their guests loved it as much as I did 🖤
