Most people don’t realise how much goes into a proper bagel.

Ours start from scratch every day in our bakery -
Dough mixed, cut, rolled by hand, proved overnight, then boiled and baked early each morning.
Then they’re sliced, packed up, and straight out to the shops for our lovely customers 💙

It’s a longer process, but it’s what makes them beyond average, they’re worth it!

Happy 6th birthday to us!

Our first baby…

God, how we love you. You’ve brought us so much joy, stress, anxiousness, excitement… BUT most of all sooooo much happiness.

We used to close the shop for months at a time, used to open only on Friday, Saturday and Sundays. We thought so many times about shutting Walcot for good and all going off to start different careers.

But we kept seeing the light and what we could become, what we could give to others sooooo we just carried on. It’s the best thing we’ve ever done, and we think it always will be.

We started as a tiny boutique café selling everything you could think of (yes, even tins of chickpeas!) and grew into Taylor’s Bagels 🥯 a brand built straight from our hearts. ♥️

We couldn’t be more grateful to all of you for showing up over the years: for queueing in the Covid days, for sticking with us, and for supporting our other three stores as we’ve grown.

Here’s to believing in a product, in people, and in having a little faith in yourself. 🩵 🎉🎈
