Get ready for some autumnal fun this October as the Pumpkin Festival comes to Normanby Hall Country Park, organised by 2B Events! 🍂👻

Taking place on selected dates between 17th and 31st October, this year’s festival is a brand-new experience, with everything happening in and around the beautiful Hay Meadow.

📸 Discover fantastic photo opportunities
👻 Enjoy a spooky storytelling session
🍔 Grab something delicious to eat
🎠 Have fun on the children’s rides

Your entry includes one regular-sized pumpkin, with additional pumpkins available to purchase on the day. Once you’ve found your perfect pumpkin, you can either take it home or head over to the pumpkin carving station and get creative! 🤩

📍 Location: Normanby Hall Country Park
📅 Dates: 17th & 18th October, then 24th–31st October
🎟️ Price: £6 – includes 1 adult, 1 child & 1 pumpkin

You know, I really don’t do enough appreciation posts for the very thing that made me start this business and has gotten us to where we are today- BROWNIES!!!

I’ve been obsessed with them since the first time I looked at a packet of dry box mix and thought “stuff it I can do better”. This was some 20+ years ago when I was in catering college and I’ve not looked back. Brownies should be soft and fudgy throughout, it took years of experimenting (and significant weight gain 😉😳🤦‍♀️) and by the time I opened my little business I could hand on heart say I’ve achieved the perfect brownie. And why? Because simply you all deserve the best 💕

So here’s a little hurrah 🙌🥳 to the humble brownie, our bestseller. The little chocolatey fudgy wudgy slice of heaven that makes my heart sing every single day. Always there and always comes out the oven perfect. Even when I’m having a bad day in the kitchen and nothing goes to plan it’s there to remind me I’ve done something right 🥹🍫💕

Only I could jigger my back doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING AT ALL… sat on the sofa last night minding my own business then BAM! Excruciating back spasms hit and they’ve been a regular fixture of merely existing ever since.

This will of course make market day tomorrow interesting… so please be patient I will be moving somewhat slower than usual. Marred by sudden jerks and squeals, I’ll be doing my best to keep it all together and running smoothly 🥰

In the meantime, my heat-pad is strapped on and I will be quad-dropping Cocodamol and ibuprofen like they’re happy fun time pills along with my magic caffeine skittles in an effort to keep myself upright…but responsibly of course, I’m not an invincible teenager anymore 😉🤪🥴

Now the weather is turning fresher and autumn is well on its way, our apple and bramble crumble bars are in high demand!

It’s our GF baking day and lots to do now the kitchen has been scrubbed to within an inch of its life, can’t have any pesky residues around 😇 Now our family eat a predominantly gluten free diet the prep process is a heck of a lot easier! This weekend we will have…
