This one completely took me out of my comfort zone, but I'm so excited to share it. The brief was a forest floor, enchanted woodland vibe inspired by an album cover and Norwegian woods.
It came with so many new challenges-from figuring out the succulents and botanical elements to creating that ethereal, misty backdrop. And don't even get me started on the moss! It's a completely different style for me, but l absolutely loved bringing this magical atmosphere to life. What do you think?

I have to admit, things have been so busy in my kitchen lately that l’ve completely neglected my posting! So, a lot of the bakes you’ll see over the next couple of weeks are actually lovely ones from a little while back.
Starting with this one, which was the prettiest pastel dream for Joshua. It features everyone’s favourite blue dog, alongside the cutest little pastel balloons and a matching rainbow.
When you’re looking for first birthday cake ideas or even a gentle, beautiful design for a christening cake, this sort of style is just perfect! The soft pastel colours, delicate balloons, and rainbows keep it looking incredibly sweet and completely suitable for a very small baby’s special celebration, whilst still bringing in their favourite cartoon characters.

You can’t have a magical 4th birthday party without some matching treats.
To go alongside Arlie’s big rainbow cake, I made these unicorn cupcakes. When you’re four, you can never really have too many rainbows or too much sparkle, can you?
Each one is topped with a neat, pastel rainbow buttercream swirl, complete with tiny handmade sugar ears and a little gold horn nestled right in the middle.
They were so much fun to bring to life.

Now this is how you bring a bit of childhood magic to life.
I loved putting together this tall, vibrant rainbow cake for Arlie’s birthday. When you’re at that age where rainbows are fascinating and unicorns are completely real, your birthday cake needs to be nothing short of magical. Arlie wanted all the colour, a big rainbow, and her very own unicorn topper.
If you’ve followed me for a while, you’ll know I don’t actually make many models nowadays. But every now and then, a theme comes along that deserves that extra touch. I have to admit, I thought this little sugar unicorn turned out absolutely adorable—perfect for a magical birthday. 🦄
To add an extra bit of wonder when it’s time to cut the slices, the sponge inside was fully rainbow-swirled too. It’s easily one of the brightest, happiest cakes to come out of my kitchen lately, and I truly hope Arlie had the most wonderful, magical birthday celebrating.

An 80th birthday calls for something truly special, and this classic, elegant style is always a favourite of mine to create.

This beauty was baked for a fabulous 80th birthday. I added a touch of edible gold leaf—because a splash of gold always elevates a design—paired with a gorgeous peach, cream, and white colour palette. I absolutely love working with flowers, whether they are fresh or faux, to bring a cake to life.

I think I’m going international. In the last week I’ve had 2 cakes ordered from America. One from Dubai. And this one was ordered from Mumbai. Here we have Cookie Monster & he looks like he’s already had a lot of biscuits before the party’s even started! Funnily enough-so did I! Mcvities choc chip cookies are too big a temptation!
