We are a small local business in the centre of Barnard Castle. We love serving our local community, and visitors too, but as a small business. We have had a large amount of requests for donations, fundraiser contributions and raffle prizes over the last year or so. Many of them from people who have never actually supported our business themselves. We would love to help with all requests, but in reality this isn’t financially viable for our small independent business. So we have made two decisions going forward, we will not be donating to any request unless we have chosen to support the cause. We really do appreciate your understanding and all your support for our small business.
