Congratulations to the most gorgeous little boy on his Christening Day on Saturday. It was an honour to make this cake for him after previously making his Mummy & Daddy’s Wedding Cake.

We went with neutral/biege tones and a cute little sugar Teddy Bear decoration on the Lemon main cake. They also had some gluten free lemon cupcakes and chocolate cupcakes decorated with some blue Italian buttercream and finished off with little teddy bear faces. I hope it was the most lovely day celebrating your little one 🩵

Congratulations to Ashleigh & Andrew who were married a couple of weeks ago on Saturday 28th March, 2026 and celebrated at Norwood Hall. The couple cake design that incorporated their wedding colour with a burgundy and white chocolate ganache coated cake with some pearl detail to the top tier and finished off with a single statement sugar daffodil. The cake was then set off with a beautiful real flower halo around the cake stand which was created by Gemma at Twiggs and Thistles.

I can’t wait to see the professional photos from Kev at Eastside Photography of them both with their cake.

When I was asked to take part in a recent styled shoot by Hester of at the gorgeous I jumped at the chance. When I saw photos of the wedding dresses to be used, I just had to create a cake inspired by one of the dresses in particular.

The dress supplied by Bev at was an Ian Stuart original named Oasis. I just fell in love with the gorgeous flower detail around the bottom so just had to create a cake inspired by it.

My First Wedding Cake of 2026 and what a beautiful day it was for it. Blue skies were out in force for Karen & James for their special day at Drumtochty Castle on Saturday 28th February.

They chose a classic design with gorgeous stencil accents, perfectly complemented by fresh florals from Jill at haysflowers that added a soft, romantic touch.

I’ve been a tad quiet here on the socials this last week and what a week it’s been!

Two Award Ceremonies - first up the toptierawards on Sunday night at Ardoe House what a fab night it was, always great fun. Then on Tuesday we headed down to Glasgow for The Scottish Wedding awards which was another great night, but we headed home straight after so to say we’re a tad tired this week is an understatement 🫣
Thank you to each and every couple that voted for me in both awards you’ll never know how much this means to me 🥰 Although there were no awards coming home with me, to me I am a winner by being a Finalist so thank you.

In between all this I’ve been prepping and baking my first Wedding Cake of 2026 for tomorrow so watch out for some sneak peeks tomorrow!

This Sunday I’ll be at the gorgeous theschivassteading from 11-4 if you’d like to meet me in person and chat all about your wedding and cake plans. So many amazing suppliers under one roof so come along and get more things ticked off that wedding to do list 😉
