My final ever post π₯Ή
What can I say, it's been a blast! I have honestly enjoyed/loved/treasured and sometimes hated every last minute of the last 10 years and 1 month of running my own cake business!
It's been a pleasure to be part of so many special occasions and to be there for some of you year after year for your birthday cakes, its honestly sometimes made me feel like one of the family!
In this business's we go up and down just now it's down but it's also been down before, but this time it feels like my time to move on.
Being self employed has gave me the time to always be at home and work around the kids and be flexible. But it also takes time away from family and friends and even time I should be relaxing and if this year has taught me anything it's that those 3 things need more attention. So nows the time!
I'm forever grateful and proud (if I do say myself) that I was able to run my own business and make a living from it (mostly, maybe not this year lol). It made me happy and still makes me happy, but I'm also so excited for what the future holds.
I look forward to spending more time with family and friends mostly, and I'm optimistic about the future (interviews and opportunities are lined up π).
I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year when it comes, you are all the best, thank you so much for all the business and recommendations over the years, I couldn't have done it without you guys!
Your Baker friend Jackie, who's more than happy to hang up her apron π xx
