Today I am thinking of the Autumn Equinox, of Harvest Festivals, I especially like the school harvest festival assemblies as a child.
Mabon is celebrated today at 1.06 the exact time of the Autumn equinox in the Northern Hemisphere.

Pic of my homegrown gourds I 🧡 them.

Hello ladies, didn't we have a lovely afternoon with Barbara Collins demonstrating, her hints and tips and knowledge of the plant materials were very welcome to a novice like myself.

I love all the seasons but Autumn always feels like a big hug, the colours are warming with a richness of colour.

I'm thinking about hot chocolate, socks, blankets, candles, pumpkins and more.

Enjoy the photos of the beautiful arrangements.

Wow what a fabulous time the members had today celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Great Ellingham and Rocklands Flower Club. This friendly club owes it success in part to the friendly and caring members, it's like a big family. Just brilliant and what about the food? The Crown @ Great Ellingham did a fantastic job. I think a few us might be going again.
Rachel and Brenda demonstrated some beautiful arrangements which were then raffled off. Cake and coffee ended the afternoon.
Well done to all the committee members for their hard work and dedication. 👏👏👏
