After a wonderful 11 months with my amazing bundle of fun Violet it’s time to calm down on making quite so many cakes in crazy times and go back to making tele! 🎬

I return to my main role very soon but I still want to be able to make as many cake creations for you guys as possible! 🎂

Therefore I now kindly ask for a minimum of 3 weeks notice for all orders to enable to me to factor them in around my job and of course being a mum! 💜

I am so thankful to everyone who has ordered from me at The Violet Cupboard and helped my baking business as well as helping to fund my new caffeine addiction since becoming a mum ☕️😂

The golden archers have kept me super busy the last two weekends with 120 biscuits and 84 cupcakes! 🍔 It’s been great working with a new customer and really lovely lady Trudie 🥰

The brief for this cake was simple seaside as the birthday girl has a passion for Cornwall 🌊🥰

I had a lovely time making these decorations. The little delicate starfish are so cute and the first time I’d ever made shells! 🐚
I used biscoff to create the sand. 🏖️

I did have a bit of a nightmare buttercreaming this cake in 33 degreees… 🥵

I was so touched to receive my first ever thank you card from this order, from the birthday girl herself. 🥰💜

I love making the fondant decs for this one, so much fun! I used a crushed up Oreo for the dirt! 🐝🐞🕷️
