I really love how this cake turned out. For a special friend celebrating a birthday. Chocolate fudge sponge with choc fudge buttercream filling and vanilla buttercream on the outside.

I haven’t made cakes in a while as I’ve been so busy with work. This special girl turned 9 and sent me a picture of what she would like. Her comment upon seeing it was ‘wow, you’ve done what I wanted and made it better’.
What a lovely compliment to receive. ###

My best wedding cake yet. Semi-naked sponge. From bottom up flavours were vanilla, chocolate, lemon and caramel.
Amazed that this survived the journey from Ashford, Kent to the Isle of Wight! I’ve never had to transport a cake so far!
