Hello my lovelies!

I'm still out if action but I just wanted to say that I hope you all had a very lovely mother's day yesterday! This time 2 years ago, my hands were recovering from fulfilling all of those amazing mothers day cream teas, staying up until 2am piping buttercream roses and back up again at 5am to make fresh scones for you all!!

My mother's day this year was very different but very lovely, I was working but was woken up to breakfast in bed with flowers and came home for my lunch break to an amazing home made cream tea by my babies 😍

I just had to share these adorable photos of them making the scones for me, organised and supervised by my lovely husband

My beautiful mum also ordered a cream tea from me to gift to my grandad as he loves my scones so I made vanilla cupcakes with vanilla buttercream, lemon loaf and plan scones and popped some herbal teas (they don't drink normal tea), clotted cream and jam into some tubs for them to enjoy it with. My grandad loves loads of cream so I put in an extra tub of cream and jam for them 🤣

Hey everyone!

It's my grandad's 80th birthday today so my nan asked me to make him a cake, it was very last minute so I had a nice simple design (he loves trains so I got a Thomas the tank engine toy as a topper 🤣) he absolutely loved it 💙

Hello my lovelies, I hope you're all doing well and 2023 is being kind to you so far ♥️

Those who know me personally already know I've been quite down recently, we've got a lot going on in our personal lives and i really miss baking! I've been really craving a marble cake so I decided to make one for pudding tonight. A lot of marble cakes have buttercream but as you all know, I prefer ganache!

So I made a yummy marble cake with a rich chocolate ganache. Me and hubs are just about to tuck into a nice big slice with a cuppa and a movie.

It felt good to do a bit of baking today, I forgot how much it took my mind off things ♥️🧁

Hey my lovelies!

I'm a bit late with this but happy new year!!

I have a bit of news and I'm not looking forward to it unfortunately.

I have, with a very heavy heart, made the heartbreaking decision to not trade this year. Due to the crazy increasing cost of living, having some very important appointments pending for myself and my children and having a new home to sort out, I'm going to have a very busy and stressful year. As you all know, all my cakes are made at home in my domestic kitchen, this means this all adds up to my homes gas, electric and water usage which is quite hard to manage separately!

I will be using this year to focus on my kids, my health and decorating our new home to start making it feel more like ours. I will still be baking for family and friends but I won't be open to customers unfortunately. I will of course still be posting on my Facebook and Instagram pages with bakes that I make. I may be selling some bits such a cupcakes, traybakes and cakesicles over then next couple of months to clear stock to avoid wastage so please let me know if you'd be interested in any bakes or keep an eye out for them being posted!

Please note that the decision to not trade this year hasn't been made lightly and has been such a hard one to make but it was either raise my prices by a lot, continue hardly making any money off my cakes after all outgoings or to stop trading. None of them great alternatives!

I hope you can all join me in supporting this and look out for when and if I trade again in the future.

Dale moaned that I didn't make him a Yule log for Christmas so I made him one tonight. The lightest, fluffiest cake I've made by far. Yum!

So today was my beautiful friend and colleague's baby shower 😍 I was incredibly honoured to be invited (even if I could only stay a short time) and to be able to make the cake for it. Look how absolutely radiant Zoe looks 😍 such a gorgeous shower ♥️

Chocolate overload cake!!!

This is a 3x 8" vanilla cake with strawberry jam, layered and coated with vanilla buttercream, topped with a chocolate ganache drip, Mikado's, milk and white Bueno's, kinder chocolate, Oreo's, forreor rocher's & Cadbury roundies 😍

I've seen this making the rounds again so thought I'd better jump on the band wagon since I've had quite a few new customers since the last time I did this!

My name is Abbie, 26, I'm a self taught baker based in Ashford, Kent. I have 2 children, Kiara and Kobi ♥️💙 I started baking in the lockdown when I was pregnant with Kobi to help with my mental health and to keep busy.
I found a love, Passion and talent for baking so after so many people telling me to start a business, I made 2 K's!

In the past 2 years I've made so many new friends, leaned so much personally and professionally and had such a fun time! I hold a 5 food hygiene rating, fully insured & allergen trained.

I am a baby and preschool swimming teacher which I absolutely adore, in my spare time I bake for you guys, spend time with my babies and do never ending washing up and laundry 🤣

A yummy raspberry Brownie stack for my beautiful mum's birthday!
