Did you know the twine expertise within the TruNet Group dates back to 1880? Henry Winning & Co Ltd has been manufacturing twine in Britain for more than 140 years and today forms part of the TruNet Group.

From traditional hand-tying twines to elasticated and non-elastic machine-tying solutions, the TruNet twine range is manufactured by Henry Winning - combining generations of manufacturing experience with the requirements of today’s food industry.

And with more than 2 million metres of string and twine produced every day, that heritage is still very much in production.

🏆 Did you know? In 2019, TruNet (UK) Ltd was awarded the Queen’s Award for Enterprise: Innovation for our patented Total Control Net (TCN).

So, what made TCN worthy of the award?

Traditional elastic meat netting provides compression, but controlling the finished diameter can be a challenge. Total Control Net was developed to do both.

The result is an innovation designed to deliver:
✓ Greater consistency in product size
✓ Improved portion and slicing control
✓ Reduced spring back
✓ Higher yields and reduced waste
✓ The ability to know the maximum product diameter before netting
