VERY belated 7th birthday adventure for Little Miss LHM Bakes on centre today!

Re-liveried from green to red to feature as the in the new tv series & we got to ride on it! Think me & were more excited than the kids!

To make up for not getting round to doing a birthday party for Little Miss LHM bakes earlier this year I had to make it up to her with a Harry Potter inspired !

When a cake’s so big it barely fits in a picture!

A whopper 9” heart shaped chocolate cake filled with chocolate buttercream with orange zest giving it a zingy chocolate orange flavour 😍

Decorated with themed piping in pistachio green & lilacs chosen by the lovely ladies who ordered the cake for their friend’s graduation celebration in on Saturday night!

Received pics of the graduATE with her cake & and a lovely thank you message on Sunday morning which, added to the wows received upon delivery, makes all the hard work & love that goes into every cake I make SO worth while!

Wording design was piped backwards, frozen & then laid on top of the cake so it read forward ☺️ and I loved the play on the word with ATE being accentuated, again, requested by the beauties ordering the cake! Well done girls!

Three cakes aaaaand a treat box! All created amid a 30 degree heatwave over the weekend!

Thanks to another lovely, returning customer who ordered a treat box for his lovely girlfriend a couple of years ago. He re-ordered the treat box in a different colour way for his girlfriend’s 40th birthday on Saturday! He was taking his good lady & the treat box (both unbeknownst to her) up to a posh restaurant in London on Saturday night where some of her friends would be waiting to surprise her! How cute!

Treat box contained 6 cupcakes - 2 with fondant icing toppers embossed with a Happy Birthday message, 4 with varying toned of coral / peach / dusky pink buttercream and rose god & neutral sprinkles, 2 sugar cookies finished with Love You embossed fondant icing topper, 2 white chocolate geometric hearts & 2 white chocolate geometric cakesicles filled with vanilla sponge mixed with vanilla buttercream & dusted with rose gold edible lustre dust. Treat box was finished off with handfuls of mini marshmallows & salted caramel dipped pretzels 😍 yum!!

It’s been a while since I made a treat box but it was so fun to make!

One cake - two variations!

The other 2 cakes baked & decorated in 30 degree heatwave over the weekend!

The red & black version was a tall 6” feeding 30+ party size pieces for two lucky little boys having a joint birthday party on Saturday. Their party invites were & themed so we went with red buttercream base & black chocolate drip & then the amazing topper from

Second version was for the gorgeous little Albie who turned 4! His lovely mumma has trusted me to make all of Albie’s birthday cakes & I’ve loved making every single one! Albie’s was a 4 layer 7” round feeding 40+ party size pieces for his mega marvel party on Sunday ☺️ amazing topper from the same seller on (just waiting for her insta handle so I can tag her!)

So grateful for all the orders I get! (Even during heatwave!) thank you all!

One of three cakes made over the weekend ☺️

This beauty was a 4 layer, 7” round vanilla sponge filled with vanilla buttercream & sliced fresh strawberries ☺️

Decorated with soft peachy pink coloured buttercream base layer with darker toned stencilled buttercream dusted with rose gold edible lustre dust ☺️ finished off with faux flowers, neautral coloured spheres, rose gold acrylic toppers & final touch were the 2 little handmade shopping bags as the birthday girl (like all us girls!) loves shopping!

Ordered by her lovely partner for a surprise party on Saturday night ☺️

Textured buttercream mountain bike theme cake from last Friday 😍

Everything was edible apart from the amazing, bright red mountain bike adorning the top of this cake mountain!

This one was made over the course of about 8hours from baking to filling to chilling it after each new mountainous layer of tonal green buttercream ☺️

My lovely customer then transported it to Cambridge on Saturday to celebrate her dad turning 70! Thank goodness it wasn’t as hot last weekend!
