When you get a brief from a returning customer that you can’t say no to! My first themed cake! with strawberry jam and topped off with all made with love!! This was a lot of fun!!! I’ve been working on perfecting my best sponge recipe with oven temp/cooking time etc. I’ve even been trying different margarines/baking spreads too!! You are after all only as good as your last cake, right?!?

I don’t even know where to start with this post! My little sister married her and they trusted me to make their . Initially I was like, yeah no probs, but as the day grew closer I really realised what it meant! The cake is on display for everyone to see, I had to get this as as possible!!! My little sister has always meant the absolute world to me, so anything less than perfect I’d be letting her down! I found an MDF stand which I spray painted and worked with my mum (the very talented florist) to bring about this cake for them! The whole day was pretty damn amazing!! The bride was and the groom didn’t scrub up too bad either!
