More often than not, when we first meet you have some idea as to how you'd like your wedding cake to look.

Or at least thoughts on the style or vibe.

Rustic. Elegant. Grand. Understated. Classic. Colourful.

This is not always the case, of course, and by no means essential.

Inspiration pics are a good starting point.

But even more important than that is OUR relationship.

Hearing about YOUR love story so far...🤍🧡❤️

The things that are important to you both.

I'll impart my creative skills, my years of experience, and my knowledge of flavours, but most of all, I'll listen.

Taking note of the important elements that MUST feature and the non-negotiables (unless my professional instinct knows they won't work! Lol!)

I'll be honest about what can and can't be achieved.

The conclusion?

A wedding cake that you love. That makes you go wow! That fits (or exceeds!) the vision we created together.

That's often quite different from where we first started but sits seamlessly against the backdrop of your wedding.

Despite all the meticulous planning, occasionally, wedding days don't quite go according to plan, and yesterday was definitely one of them.

With temperatures reaching 34°C, my wedding cake needed a fridge!

This is where experience, problem-solving, and a great team of wedding suppliers really matter.

We found a solution, emptied a fridge, chilled the cake and, with a little patience and a lot of skill, it was perfect for cake cutting.

You can't control the weather or predict every challenge. You can, however, control how you respond.

It turns out the recipe for the perfect wedding cake isn't just flour, sugar, and butter.

It's teamwork, resilience, skill, and a little bit of faith.

And, thankfully, today, that recipe worked!
