Sunshine in Wendover Woods. Think they were mobbed up here yesterday so it’s wonderful being able to come in the morning when hardly anyone’s around!

Feels like autumn might be just around the corner: chillier start today but lovely in the sunshine.

Lovely walk at Wendover Woods this morning with Katy and reggingtonmay - started with pre-walk sausage for Bunny and a latte for me and after about 3.5 miles walk, finished off with doggo ice cream and an iced coffee - double whammy treat morning! 🥳❤️🐾

Bit of a long one - my thoughts and ramblings on exams and looking ahead.

It can be blooming tough out there for young people with expectations that are put on them for exams. But equally, they can’t sit back on their laurels thinking society owes them something.

Be the best that you can be: doing something that brings you joy, something that gives you a hunger to know more.
Do it for yourself.
You’re worth it and you can do it.
Show the doubters that you can be and
can do whatever you want and be great at it.

Yay, we had a bit of rain!! I’m sure it won’t be long before I’m a bit sick of dog walks in the rain and cold….
Today is perfect.
The woods smell amazing, the stubble on the fields smells ‘biscuity’ and I can hear the birds.
It’s all good.
It’s also a lovely way to start the day: passing fellow dog walkers and folk off to work, saying ‘good morning’, just puts a smile on your face.
At least 6 people stopped to stroke Bunny and said how soft her coat is - stroking a dog or a cat is a great way to destress and ground yourself ☺️
