It was worth it to make my Sister in law’s 30th Birthday cake, and spending the week away by the coast all together ☀️

It’s also nice to be able to see inside the cake when cut! This was a white chocolate and raspberry sponge with white chocolate buttercream layers 👀

This year’s Christmas cake design was a little more traditional, but the fruit cake was less so, and is drenched in spiced rum rather then the traditional brandy 🤩

It’s been a busy Christmas period but all the cakes are now delivered and it’s time to relax and enjoy the festivities with family!

Hi 👋🏼 It’s been a minute!

I’ve taken a break from baking this year, what with a new job, new home, and most excitingly, a wedding, the only cake I’ve been getting stuck into is this one!

I handed over the baking responsibilities of our wedding cake to the wonderful who made the cake of my dreams 🤍

I will soon be moving house so this week is ‘last orders’ for a while whilst we pack up, unpack and settle in to the place!
