A fun-loving, adventurous couple, the brief was simply 'colourful' 🌈

So we have a classic vanilla sponge with Hawkshead Relish Company jam and white chocolate vanilla buttercream for the bottom tier, decorated with bright colours and ribbon 🎀

Top tier is a boozy fruit cake that speaks to their outdoorsy side ⛰️ 🌳 Finished with colourful buttercream and sugar flowers 💐

It was a whole heap of fun, and a record sell-out day, so THANK YOU! It really means a lot 🙏 😘

Shout out to all the organisers and my fellow food hall traders too - heroes, every one 👏

And a little extra surprise... I spoke to Farming Today on BBC Radio 4 which will air tomorrow morning at 5:30am! 😬😄

No, it's not secretly a haggis, but a delightful vanilla sponge with lemon curd and vanilla buttercream, decorated with strawberries, Scottish raspberries and finished with a splash of saltire and tartan 😋
