The Coastal Grind
Weekend opening update for the weekend of 6th-9th June.
The Cake Shed won't be open Thursday or Friday of this week, but we will have our Cake Shed packed ready for Saturday and Sunday.
I've been a bit busy with tests and I'm also having to have some electric work done.
Shed will be open from 4pm Saturday till close of Brewis Beer Co. Taproom & Events business, last orders 9pm and Sunday 2pm till close of business, last orders 7pm.
The van won't be out Friday, but as soon as everything is turned around and the sun decides to put it's blooming hat on, we will be in our usual spot.

Cake Shed restock delay for The Coastal Grind this week.
I've been having a few tests this week, which has delayed the start of the baking for our Cake Shed. There will be no bakes in the shed on Thursday this week. However, we will frantically be baking Thursday ready to load the shed for Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Our shed will be fully loaded and ready to go Friday at Brewis Beer Co. Taproom & Events from 4pm
Thank you for your understanding, I really appreciate it.
If the weather behaves we will have the van out Friday and maybe a cheeky fresh cream eclair made with Hauxley Farm cream, of course. X

Did The Coastal Grind mention we have Twix Sharing Chocolate Fudge cakes on the van today?
I don't think we did. However even with my forgetful memory, we only have two of these left.
Don't be ashamed if you do what I did and shared with yourself.
Sharing is caring, no matter what anyone says.
Two layer chocolate fudge cake sandwiches together with butter frosting, a puddle of caramel twix pieces, topped with chocolate drip and more twix pieces.

The Coastal Grind Cake Shed is at Brewis Beer Co. Taproom & Events today 2pm till close of business today.
All of our fudge is made with Hauxley Farm butter and cream
Last orders are 7pm and they close the doors around 7.30pm.
Fabulous street food, awesome chilled beer and atmosphere.

Do The Coastal Grind risk it for the Fresh Cream Chocolate Eclairs? Of course they are made using Hauxley Farm fresh cream.
There is mention of rain this afternoon. I'm thinking go, set up and pack up when the rain comes.
My advice is come and grab your Eclairs ASAP.
At Hybrid Kickboxing Amble Carpark from 11.30am till it rains or 3.30pm if it doesn't.
Quick update: we only have a few of these left. Bloody delightful. X
