Breads aplenty this morning!

We have 8 different types of loaves for you today, what’s better than fresh, real bread on the weekend?

Our cake counter is fully stocked with pastries, scones and sweet treats, chocolate hazelnut brioche has made its come back today along with a traditional lemon bar , cookies and millionaires shortbread.

Plenty to offer this morning, remember we’re open till 13:00 or until it’s all gone!

Opening hours this week are a little short as it’s the little supervisor’s 2nd birthday!! This means I’ll be taking my first holiday since we opened the shop. Not for hospitals, or appointments, an actual holiday.

We will only be open Tuesday 8/9 this week and I’m going to be taking a break from the shop and baking.

We will have all of our sourdough breads including cheese and jalepeno and oat and honey along with our counter staples.

Thank you for your understanding for this closure, as you’ve all known how unwell she was almost a year ago this birthday means as much as her first, if not more. We need some good family time to celebrate.

We will be back open Saturday 18th September.

Open today 9:30-12:00

We have our sourdough day today with a few extra white and Wholemeal bloomers.

Our special for today is a raspberry Bakewell flapjack, filled with raspberry jam and flaked almonds.

Unfortunately no croissants today as they haven’t worked and looked like mini bread rolls but we will have them back for the weekend.

Shop Update 9/08

Apologies for the short notice however we will unfortunately have to close the shop for the next two weeks for a hospital stay for the little supervisor.

The shop has been left in good hands for all wholesale orders and holiday cottages and if they feel confident they will open the shop, however we don’t want to over promise. If we are able to open, a note will be on our door for you. It will be CASH ONLY on these days.

We will be back at the end of the month ready to pick things up again.

Open this Saturday for all breads and bakes with our special this week: Cheese and Jalapeño Sourdough loaves.

These are available through orders only and we will have one available to try on your visit.

Blondies will be making a return as well!

Open Saturday 18th 9:30-13:00

Apologies for the lack of communication and the last minute closure on Tuesday. Due to a sudden mental crisis I was unable to open the shop on Tuesday, I apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Feeling better after a short break so we are going again for Saturday with all of our breads and bakes. Blondies are our special this week, rich and fudgy perfect way to start the summer holidays!

Any orders submitted over tonight will be honoured but I know it is last minute so we will have plenty available.

They may not be the prettiest loaves I’ve ever made but for today we will have Northumbrian Rye loaves for you!

Samples available to try before you buy.

Using Heatherslaw Rye flour it is a dense flavourful loaf made with the best local flour from an hour away from our bakery.
