Almost time to start baking again!

We will only be open on Tuesday this week due to a very important appointment for the little supervisor and a much needed break for our whole family given the recent few months.

Tuesday 2nd 9:30-12:00

This week marks the Cruffin comeback, we will have the two classic flavours available: lemon and chocolate as well as our sourdough loaves (white, Wholemeal and cheese)

Please get any orders in by tonight at 10pm for your guaranteed loaf.

We will resume as usual for the week after!

Sourdough day for Tuesday, with White Wholemeal and Cheese loaves along with scones, cakes and bakes.

Along with all of our usual yeasted loaves for Saturday.

Our specials this week are:

⭐️ Brie, Honey and Rosemary Focaccia for both Tuesday and Saturday.

⭐️ Peach Melba Danish for Saturday only.

Please get all orders in as soon as you can, the cut off is 2 days before our open days (Sunday and Thursday) at 10pm.

It’s going to be a busy one! To celebrate for the puffin festival I’ve taken inspiration of one of our region’s most iconic birds so we will have our puffin themed layer cake along with TWO flavours of biscotti, one double chocolate and another a zesty almond.

As usual please get all orders in by tomorrow, Thursday 21st, at 10pm to guarantee your loaf for the bank holiday weekend. You can comment below, email or message.

Chocolate filled brioche rolls are back this week with millionaires shortbread. I will adjust these slightly to be filled with a chocolate ganache instead of spread to make them extra rich, that perfect weekend treat.

Please let me know what you would like put to one side, extras with be available too!

Back to baking this week using our local Northumberland flours, eggs and milk.

⭐️ RECIPE UPDATE ⭐️
Our Wholemeal bloomers and sourdough use Heatherslaw Wholemeal flour, our sourdough also has Wholemeal Rye flour as well!

For the special tomorrow we will have millionaires shortbread making its comeback with a chocolate caramel tart.

Let me know what you would like, apologies for the short notice but our opening hours are updated for Tuesdays and Saturdays now!

Seen as so many of you loved the Bakewell tart yesterday, it’s back for our special this weekend with caramel brownies. We will also have cheese and ham scones with our regular cheese and fruit scones.

A little behind the scenes clip of your sourdough loaves after their first shaping 9hours after their first mix. Our sourdough process takes from 6am through to 7:30am the following day to weigh, mix, prove, ferment and bake.
