Our Story
Hi, I’m Hannah, baker, maker and creator of Hannah Matilda. I have always had a passion for creating food and cakes that are both beautiful to look at and delicious to eat. I am constantly inspired for new flavours and designs by what I see around me in nature and the changing seasons.
I started my career in the food and catering industry as a pastry chef in London where I developed my skill and love for cakes and patisserie. After reaching the finals of the Cordon Bleu Patisserie Scholarship Award in London I pursued my ambition of starting my own company and have a wide range of experience from working as a chef in private households to busy London restaurants and organic artisanal bakeries.
I moved to Manchester in 2018 where I now run Hannah Matilda, providing outstanding cakes to my wonderful clients as well as bespoke catering for private events, celebrations, press launches and more in and around Manchester and Cheshire.
