It’s been awhile since I’ve used my baking skills and waved my magic whisk. 😁 Proud to say, I haven’t lost the touch. Despite my worries, my Lemon Sponge with lemon flavoured frosting came out fluffy and moist, everyone loved it up to the last piece. ☺️

Sponge is chocolate chiffon cake filled with hazelnut buttercream sprinkled with chopped hazelnuts and covered with vanilla whipped cream frosting in her requested birthday colours purple/lilac and silver. Baked a lovely moist and fluffy coffee and walnut cake for an 80th birthday. The bespoke topper made it even more special. Also, made 20 Lemon drizzle cupcakes with tangy lemon whipped frosting for his guests to enjoy.
