Mae'r arddangosfa 'Mwy nag Adeilad ...' bellach wedi agor ac i'w gweld yn Morlan nes 24 Mawrth. Mae'n werth ei gweld - casgliad amrywiol o waith. Gallwch ei mwynhau ar lefel elfennol ond, o aros a meddwl, mae'r geiriau a'r delweddau yn siarad cyfrolau.

The 'More than a building ...' has now opened and can be seen at Morlan until 24 March. It is worth seeing - full of interesting pieces. You can simply enjoy it on a basic level, but, if you stop and think for a while, the words and images speak volumes.

On the home page of Morlan’s website, the centre is described as being "more than a building …” and this is also the title of a special exhibition of art and poetry at Morlan that opens on 15 February – the ninth of the Ten at Ten series of events to mark the centre’s tenth anniversary. Morlan’s website goes on to talk about the centre itself and what it represents. Ten words (or phrases) that are particularly relevant to Morlan were chosen from this page:

bridge, Christian values, community, culture, faith, listening and discussing, multi-cultural/one world, prayer, spiritual, Wales/Welsh

Various artists and poets were invited to respond to one or more of these words in whichever way they chose. The result is this mixed exhibition that includes work by Myrddin ap Dafydd, Huw Meirion Edwards, Anwen Pierce, Eurig Salisbury and Annette Williamson and Marian Delyth, Anthony Evans, Iestyn Hughes, Ruth Jên, Wynne Melville Jones, Gareth Owen, John Rowlands and Diana Williams. It runs until 24 March. Official opening hours: Monday to Friday, 10-12 & 2-4 although the nature of the centre means that the work can be seen at other times as well. All the art is for sale and Morlan has a Buying Plan so you can pay in monthly instalments.
