Top: 4inch iced ginger cake - at special request from dad
Middle: 6inch fruit cake with marzipan and red/white marbled fondant
Bottom: 8inch vanilla sponge with red vanilla buttercream

Decorated with a custom topper and real roses (along with some special extras 🥰)

6 inch vanilla sponge with vanilla buttercream (no jam please, as requested 🫶), finished with macarons, gold malteaser-style balls, and (my first use of) edible gold leaf! 👌❤️🤍💛

Top: 8inch vanilla sponge with vanilla buttercream filling and finish
Bottom: 10inch, double layer fruit cake with marzipan and fondant finish

Finishing touch was edible pearls 🫶

This one was a labour of love for some good friends - Happy 40th Anniversary Sybil and Ian!
