🎂 Winter Update - cakes by Cerys ❄️

As the colder months roll in, I’ve made the decision to close the shed over the winter period. BUT don’t worry — I’m not disappearing!

I’ll still be taking orders for Christmas and Winter Treat Boxes, perfect for cosy nights in, gifting, or festive celebrations. These boxes can include a mix of:
✨ Bakes
✨ Cakes
✨ Little treats for both kids and adults
✨ And all your favourite goodies!

Craving some old school cake, a tray of Rocky Road, or something sweet on a chilly day? I’ll also be taking one-off orders throughout winter — just pop me a message anytime and I’ll let you know my availability.

All orders will be available for collection or delivery (small charge applies).
This service will only be running while the shed is closed for winter, so get your orders in and treat yourself! 💗

Hi everyone!
Just a quick update to let you know that Cakes by Cerys will be closed this Friday through Sunday.

The snow has been absolutely wild, and the walk/drive up to the shed is just not safe or accessible right now. Your safety (and mine!) is the priority, so it’s best to stay tucked up and warm this weekend.

Thank you so much for understanding. I’ll keep you all updated, and hopefully things will be back to normal soon! 🤍✨

I’m still smiling! Today was my very first event with Cakes by Cerys, and I honestly couldn’t be prouder. Starting this business has been such rollercoaster, and seeing people enjoy my cakes in real life made all the hard work completely worth it.

Thank you so much to everyone who stopped by, supported me, tasted my bakes, shared the most kind words, or even just showed interest. It means more than I can put into words. Your encouragement has made this step unforgettable, and I’m so excited for what’s ahead.

Special thank you to my friends and partner for helping me not stress to much, helping me set up and helping me serve, means the world and made my first event way more enjoyable🥹

📢 A Quick Note to All Customers

Hi everyone, thank you to everyone who continues to support my cake shed. I truly appreciate the kindness, lovely messages, and loyalty from so many of you.

However, I need to address something important. Recently, there have been issues with people not paying the full amount for their bakes, touching or tampering with my camera as this can mess the connection for the rest of the day, incorrect currency given (euros, cents) moving or interfering with products, and making unpleasant comments. This is not acceptable.

I put a lot of time, care, and ingredients into every cake I make. Please remember:

• Full payment is required when collecting your product
• Do not touch or interfere with the camera or shed equipment
• Do not move, open, or tamper with products
• Be respectful – kindness costs nothing
•please check your change before popping it into the tin

I love what I do, and I want to keep this a friendly and positive space and be able to stay open, Thank you to those who show respect and support – it means more than you know. 💛

🎃 Halloween Update 🎃

Hey everyone,
I’m so sorry to say that the Cake Shed won’t be open for Halloween this year — I’ve come down with a nasty bug and need a few days to rest and recover. 💛

I’m gutted to miss out on all the spooky fun but I’ll be back baking as soon as I’m feeling better.
