🎉🍰 THE BAKE SHED IS MOVING & OPEN SATURDAY! 🍰🎉

I’ve been away for a little while as I’ve been contemplating moving the shed after a few incidents recently, including some involving the police. Unfortunately, the vandalism has become an ongoing issue, so I’ve decided it’s time for a change!

📍 The Bake Shed will now be at 51 Crown Crescent, in my front garden!

Hopefully this will help prevent any more vandalism, and it’s also easier to find with better parking access! 🥰

And the best part… WE’RE OPEN THIS SATURDAY! 🎉🧁

A quick reminder: the shed operates on an honesty basis and is covered by CCTV. Anyone found underpaying, stealing, or vandalising the shed will be reported to the police. Unfortunately, after recent incidents, I have to take these matters seriously to protect my small business.

Unfortunately, someone has just come to my cake shed and attempted to vandalise it. I’m unsure if it’s connected to the theft from the other week, but they tried to yank the roof off and repeatedly kicked the shed, causing damage.

If anyone recognises these two boys or has any information that could help identify them, I’d really appreciate you getting in touch. I will be passing all available evidence to the police and will be proceeding with a report.

Please share this if you can. It’s heartbreaking that a small, local honesty business is being targeted like this. Thank you to everyone for your continued support. 💕

💕 Little update… 💕

I’m so sorry, but unfortunately the cake shed won’t be open this week.

I’ve come down with really bad tonsillitis and I’m currently on antibiotics. I was so excited to get back to baking and reopen the shed, so I’m absolutely gutted to have to postpone it.

Thank you all so much for your patience and understanding. As soon as I’m feeling better, I’ll be back in the kitchen filling the shed with lots of goodies. I can’t wait to see you all again soon! 🧁💗

⚠️ A message to the person who stole from my cake shed. ⚠️

You deliberately covered your face on CCTV and left without paying. That isn’t an honest mistake – it’s theft.

I’m giving you the opportunity to do the right thing. Please return and pay for what you took.

If payment isn’t made, I will be reporting the theft to the police and providing them with the CCTV footage. I work hard to keep this honesty box running for my genuine customers, and I won’t tolerate people taking advantage of it.

To everyone who supports Cakes by Cerys honestly, thank you so much. Your kindness and honesty are what keep my little shed going. 💕
