Throwing it back to 2020, a time when the world slowed down and weddings suddenly looked very different.
Lock down due to the COVID 19 pandemic brought about restrictions in gathering and micro weddings became common.
The grand celebrations became intimate gatherings. Large guest lists turned into close family moments and the towering wedding cakes we were so used to creating became smaller, more personal centrepieces.
At the time, none of us imagined how much the wedding industry would evolve.
What started as necessity became a lasting influence on modern weddings and even today, couples continue to embrace intimate celebrations alongside grand luxury affairs.
But looking back now, something beautiful came from that season…
Couples began focusing more on meaning, connection and intentional celebrations.
And even today, many weddings still carry that same intimate elegance. Whether it’s a small gathering or a grand luxury affair.
One thing never changed though, the desire for a beautiful cake that feels special enough for the moment.
Because true elegance was never about size. It has always been about the experience, the details and the memories created around it.
