🚗 Coming to the Strawberry Fair this Sunday? 🍓 Here’s everything you need to know about parking to help keep the village safe and running smoothly on the day.

Please AVOID parking on the roads surrounding the fair, especially the main routes through the village – this helps keep things safe for everyone and avoids disruption for local residents.

Instead, please use the designated parking areas shown on the map:

* HRN have kindly allowed us to use their yard on Commercial Road – it will be clearly signposted and marshalled.
* Insch Primary School playground
* Insch Train Station
* Bennachie Leisure Centre
* Football pitches behind the Leisure Centre

Disabled parking will be available at Insch Hospital – please speak to the marshals at the entrance for access and directions.
It is imperative that no cars are parked on the hospital site unless required for disabled access, we appreciate your cooperation on this 🫶

The latest BBC report on rising violence in Scotland’s schools is deeply alarming, but let’s look at the root cause: a massive lack of resources. Teachers are being pushed to the limit, support staff numbers have been cut, and specialised behavior interventions are practically non-existent in some areas. Expecting schools to fix this without proper government funding is completely unrealistic.
