The end of an era 🩷
After almost five years of running Lois Caked It, I wanted to let you all know that I will be closing indefinitely at the end of March 2026. Lois Caked It has been a huge part of my life in the last few years however, as seasons change, my focus has shifted elsewhere and I am taking the opportunity to pursue my other passions.
I took some time to look through the many cake pictures and videos in my gallery in preparation for this post and I am amazed by the wonderful opportunities and lessons that Lois Caked It has afforded me. Most notably, it taught me to believe in myself, to put myself out there and the value of working hard to make your dreams into your reality. I never thought I would be good enough to be known as a ‘cake lady’ 😅 I have had the privilege of being part of so many incredible milestones - birthdays, weddings, proposals, anniversaries and everything in between. I am so grateful for every one of you who has supported me on this journey. It has truly been an honour.
With all of that being said, this page will remain up for now and I’ll still be baking as a hobby so I may post the occasional update. For those who would like a last ‘hurrah’ I have very limited spaces for cupcake orders over the next two weeks. Please message me if you’d like to place an order ‘for the road’.
