Welcome, and thanks for taking a moment to see what Corinna’s Bakery is all
about! I want to share with you a little of my background and what has inspired me. I was born to a French mother and Irish father in the west of Ireland. As a child I spent many hours in the kitchen with my mam, learning to bake various fantastic desserts. I have very fond memories of that time and of my mini Kenwood…
J’ai poursuivi ma carrière dans la restauration pour l’énergie que j’y trouvais, pour sa dimension créative et pour la découverte de nouveaux goûts et de nouvelles techniques. Cela a aussi été l’occasion de voyager dans plusieurs pays, de me créer une solide expérience et de la partager avec d’autres comme je le fais maintenant avec le jeune public lors de mes ateliers. En Australie, j’ai rencontré mon partenaire, un Français avec qui je partage l’amour de la bonne chère et des voyages. En 2011, nous avons décidé de déménager en France, dans la région bordelaise. C’est une chance incroyable d’y vivre et de profiter de sa gastronomie, de son vin et de son climat. I continued my career in hospitality, as I loved the buzz it gave me, always creating and discovering new flavors and methods. It also gave me the opportunity to travel, to build a solid experience in cooking and baking and to share it with others, as I do now with kids during baking/English lessons. During my time abroad in Australia I met my partner, a delicious French man who shares my love for good food and travel. We decided in 2011 to move to Bordeaux, France. It has been an amazing opportunity for me to be in such a region, with its great food, wine and climate. CORINNA'S BAKERY IS BORN
Corinna’s Bakery est une manière de mélanger ma passion et ma culture avec celles des français à travers la pâtisserie. Je veux vous entrainer avec moi dans mon amour pour les « cakes » maison. Je souhaite aussi vous faire découvrir mes origines, d’autres cultures, mes expériences, de nouvelles saveurs et le peps que j’ai à offrir ! Corinna’s Bakery is a way for me to mix up my passion and culture with that of the French through baking. I want to invite you to sample my love for home baking and to discover the whirl of fun and flavors I have to offer.
