« Je n’aurais jamais pensé un jour adopter un imprimé léopard… et pourtant !
Dès le premier regard, il y a eu cette sensation étrange, comme l’apparition silencieuse d’un félin après des heures de traque, mon appareil photo à la main, au cœur d’une forêt tropicale.
Le reflet presque vivant du poil dans la lumière, cette ligne fine et élancée, à la fois douce, nerveuse et sportive… une allure instinctive.
Peut-être aussi parce que mon métier m’a appris à suivre mes intuitions, à regarder les matières, les reflets, chaque détails, et à me laisser surprendre par des accords que je n’avais jusque là pas encore imaginés.
Alors je me suis laissé entraîner par cette énergie nouvelle : plus libre, plus féline, presque sauvage … et qui finalement me ressemble. »

Éric is a wildlife photographer. Jaguars in the Pantanal, tigers in India, panthers in Africa… The leopard motif was the obvious choice.
Except that … he, in fact, didn’t like it!
“I never thought I’d one day wear a leopard print… and yet! From the very first glance, there was this strange feeling, like the silent appearance of a feline after hours of stalking, my camera in hand, in the heart of a rainforest.
The almost lifelike reflection of the fur in the light, that fine, slender line, at once soft, edgy, and sporty… an instinctive look.
Perhaps it’s also because my profession has taught me to follow my intuition, to observe fabrics, reflections, every detail, and to let myself be surprised by combinations I hadn’t even imagined before.
So I let myself be carried away by this new energy: freer, more feline, almost wild… and which ultimately reflects who I am.”
Eric confides that he did the same thing in cooking with saffron, a spice he used to detest.
Today, it’s one of his signature dishes.
Between saffron and leopard, it seems there’s only a small step.
