A recent message from Jon Hudaon after a two week trip on Kingfisher

I have been a regular at Abbey Lakes for many years and booked a two-week September trip to fish on Kingfisher.

The session was exceptional, one of the best I have experienced on the Abbey complex.

On my first night just after midnight I landed a fish weighing over 40lb. The following evening I caught a second 42lb fish. The runs continued daily with increasingly large fish, resulting in a total of 16 fish. These included five 50lb to 58lb 10oz, seven 40lb to 49lb 8oz, three 30lb and one smaller 20lb fish.

The highlight of the trip was a brace of carp weighing 58lb 10oz and 57lb 8oz caught in a five-hour period.

Love Abbey Lakes, and a big thank you to Mark and Lou ❤️🎣🇫🇷
