Mōrena Bread Lovers! All my sourdough cultures did an amazing job and made extra nice bread today. The warmer spring weather helps with the fermentation and generally makes life easier and lighter.
Fresh bread will land at Down to Earth Organics around 9am. Maybe it will still be warm when you hold it in your excited little hands. Enjoy, dear friends!

She runs her pottery from the back of her sustainable and productive garden full of fruit trees, flowers and chickens. I love that she is the one making my favourite vessels, just down the road, creating her own glazes from local rocks, providing us with beautiful items for every day life. Baking local bread in local bread moulds is just next level local.
You can meet this strong, sovereign and incredibly capable artist and crafts woman at the Taranaki Sustainable Trails in the first week of November.
