Arbres et Abeilles Arbres et Abeilles is a small nursery, situated on the Vienne/Charente border close to the village of Genouillé.

We have a range of perennials, shrubs and trees as well as many different grasses and ideal plants for summer hanging baskets. A wide choice of fruit trees is available, with many dessert and cooking apple trees to choose from. Located at the nursey is La Chevrerie tea rooms. We hope to bring you an extra facet of interest here at Chez Perochon where you can relax with a tea or coffee and cake whi

Just in! A delivery of lavender, Perovskia, Geranium Johnson's blue plus other plants arrived today :)
The nursery will be open on Friday afternoon as usual, the early summer flowering shrubs are looking good and many of the perennials have decided to emerge, ready for the summer. There are still squash, butternut, melon, cucumber, tomatoes, peppers and chilli plants available if you need something to fill your potager.

Easter special!
Well rooted Chilli plug plants available only this week, from today (April 1st) until next Wednesday (April 8th). For this week only, the plugs are 50 cents each. And the nursery will give you 9cm godets to plant them in, free!
From sweet Marconi peppers through mild, medium and hot chillis, long and thin, a stuffing variety, all the way to 'black cobra' and Brazilian starfish' (quite hot!)
The nursery is open as usual, Wednesday to Saturday 1-4pm and then by appointment on Easter Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (6/7/8 April). The nursery is then closed for the rest of that week.

Green and yellow courgettes
Red and blue kuri and sweet dumpling (potimarron) squash plants
Ultra butternut plants
Charentais 'sucrée de Tours' melon
Red and yellow (allongée) and red 'block' pepper plants
Cucumber 'Johanna'
Hot, medium and mild chilli peppers
Tomatoes are just starting - Coeur de boeuf, salad, black cherry and yellow pear varieties
Green and purple basil, parsley and other herbs will be ready after the 'saintes glaces' days in May

Message the nursery if you wish to reserve plants for a pickup mid May.
If you have a warm place to look after them, you are welcome to collect over the Easter holiday.
