Reward everyday working heroes!

During these challenging times, we have been shown incredible kindness by the women and men working in food stores. As we make our cookie deliveries across the Helsinki region, they seem busier than ever. Stocking shelves, cleaning and disinfecting, or packing groceries for home delivery. And no matter how hectic things get, they always seem to have time to help with a reassuring smile.

We want to say thank you and bring a little Vappu glee to these everyday working heroes. So this year, we are bringing cookies to our favorite food stores for the employees to enjoy.

If you feel as we do, please join us. You can show your love for your local food store heroes by ordering a special Hero Box of cookies for the employees of your favorite food store.

Visit ugly.fi/heroes to select a food store and write a short note to the employees. Next Thursday, on Vappu eve, we will deliver your gift along with your message.

Pretty obvious, eh? You can’t make a great chocolate cookie without great chocolate. Our choice is Callebaut from Belgium. We love the cocoa pureness and the variety of flavors. You can’t find Callebaut in many places in Finland but if you want to try some for yourself, let us know. We’ll hook you up.
