God’s perfect gift is Jesus Christ, given not because we earned it, but because of His great love. Through Him we receive forgiveness, salvation, and eternal life. This gift is complete, lacking nothing, and offered freely to all who believe. It reveals that God’s greatest blessing is His presence with us, not just what He gives, but who He gives.

On that holy night in Bethlehem, the world received a gift wrapped not in gold, but in humility.
A tiny pair of feet rested in a wooden manger — the feet that would one day walk dusty roads, bring healing to the broken, and ultimately be pierced for our redemption.

As the shepherds gathered in awe, heaven's light broke through the darkness to announce hope:
“For unto you is born this day… a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.” (Luke 2:11)

The sweetness of the manger is inseparable from the sacrifice of the cross.
The wood that held the infant Savior would one day echo in the wood that held our Redeemer.
The swaddling cloths prepared Him for His first night on earth — and foreshadowed the linen cloths of His last.

He came to save.
He came to restore.
He came to love without condition.
He came to be the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.

As you look at this picture the manger below and the cross above let your heart settle on this truth:
