โ–บThe Plaza de Espanฬƒa is an architectural complex located in the Mariฬa Luisa park in the city of Seville (Spain). It was designed by the architect Aniฬbal Gonzaฬlez. It was built between 1914 and 1929 as one of the main constructions of the Ibero-American Exposition of 1929. It is the largest building of all those that were erected in the city during the 20th century.

โ–บThis square has large dimensions (170 meters in diameter) and a semi-elliptical shape, which symbolizes the embrace of Spain to its former American territories, and looks towards the Guadalquivir River, as the way forward to America.

โ–บThe Cathedral of Santa Marรญa de la Sede is located in Seville (Andalusia, Spain). It is in the Gothic style. It is the largest cathedral in the world in this style and was declared by Unesco in 1987, together with the Real Alcรกzar and the Archivo de Indias, as a World Heritage Site and, on July 25, 2010, an Asset of Outstanding Universal Value.

โ–บ According to tradition, construction began in 1401, although there is no documentary evidence of the beginning of the work until 1433. โ–บThe Torre del Oro (Arabic: ุจูุฑู’ุฌ ุงู„ุฐูŽู‘ู‡ูŽุจ burj adฬฒhฬฒ-dฬฒhฬฒahab) is a dodecagonal military watchtower in Seville, southern Spain. It was erected by the Almohad Caliphate in order to control access to Seville via the Guadalquivir river.

โ–บConstructed in the first third of the 13th century, the tower served as a prison during the Middle Ages. Its name comes from the golden shine it projected on the river, due to its building materials (a mixture of mortar, lime and pressed hay).

โ–บThe tower is divided into three levels, the first level, dodecagonal, was built in 1220 by order of the Almohad governor of Seville, Abรน l-Ulร ; As for the second level, of only 8 meters, also dodecagonal, was built by Peter of Castile in the fourteenth century, a hypothesis that has been confirmed by archaeological studies; The third and uppermost being circular in shape was added after the previous third level, Almohad, was damaged by the 1755 Lisbon earthquake.
