For us, exciting news! - we are now doing what we love best (well almost!) and baking full time as a bakery
With help and encouragement from the folks at the local Ayuntamiento, we have established Lara’s Loaf as a fully licensed artisan bakery, with Lydia very much in charge
Since Lara’s Loaf is a micro-bakery, and most of our products take two days to prepare, we mostly bake to order, and our new website gives customers a nice range of products, which change frequently, and a choice of convenient dates and times for pickup from the bakery or free home delivery (only in El Valle at present)
But we always plan to have surplus stock available for people who like to drop in during opening hours. This Easter we are stocking scrumptious, luxury hot cross buns in addition to other treats!
We always wanted to have an “open house” get-together, to celebrate with friends and customers, but this is impractical and probably illegal
So we invite you to visit us as individuals/families over the next few days and Easter for a coffee, a cuppa or a cerveza, and to sample some baked goodies. Weather permitting, we will place a few chairs outside. It would be so good to see you, but do please contact us first if possible so we can avoid bottlenecks, and of course bring your masks!
If you can’t make it, please do take a good look at our new website www.larasloaf.com for info and to browse Lydia’s online shop. She will be rotating products so as to include variety e.g. sourdough pizza bases, focaccia, bagels, as well as seasonal treats, so it will be worthwhile subscribing to get news of availability
Hope to see you soon!
And please subscribe
