✨ A little note about how custom cakes work ✨
I think it’s very normal that when people see custom cake pricing, they sometimes wonder why it takes time or why it’s priced the way it is.
So I want to make it clearer what actually happens behind the scenes.
Custom cakes are not just about baking a cake.
Most of the time is actually spent on communication, understanding ideas, creating design directions, planning details, and making sure everything fits perfectly for your event.
In reality, I spend a large part of my work sitting in front of a screen rather than only in the kitchen.
And I don’t think many people realise this part of the process.
Because of this, clear structure is very important for me.
It helps me protect my time, but also makes sure each client gets a proper, thoughtful design instead of rushed replies or unclear expectations.
That’s why I’ve set up a clear system for custom orders and online shop items, so everything is transparent and easy to follow.
