From June 18th to June 24th, El Cookie will be closed for the Hogueras celebrations.

Don't worry—I haven't disappeared. 😌

I'll be taking a little time to: ☕ Rest 📝 Plan new events 💡 Dream up new ways to bring people together over coffee and cookies.

Sometimes even cookies need a recharge.
But we'll be back soon with plenty of exciting things happening:

I'm looking forward to seeing all of you again and kicking off a summer full of community, coffee, music, and cookies.

Working in customer service means always smiling

But sometimes people say things SO wild…
that the second they turn around, I make a face like:
👁👄👁

Some real examples from cafe life:
🍪 “Do you have cookies?”
…while standing directly in front of 200 cookies.
☕️ “What coffees do you have?”
…next to the giant coffee menu board.
🚪 Persiana halfway down
“Are you still open?”
And my personal favorite:
“I’ll NEVER come back!”
…because I didn’t magically know they wanted table service

Honestly though, these moments make running El Cookie entertaining every single day

Running a cafe teaches you one important thing… people do NOT read signs 😂

One of the funniest things about running El Cookie…
I have a BIG sign at the counter that says:

“Please order here.”
Simple, right?
And yet somehow…
people still sit down and wait for table service 😂

One time someone even loudly announced:
“I’m NEVER coming back because nobody came to my table!” 😭☕️

Meanwhile I’m standing behind the counter like:
👁👄👁 …the sign and I tried our best.

Honestly though, these little moments make cafe life entertaining 😂

So now I need to know
